Field Medical's FieldForce™ Ablation System Earns FDA TAP Pilot Acceptance and Breakthrough Device Designation for the Treatment of Ventricular Tachycardia.
Dr. Steven Mickelsen:
The Future of Pulsed Field Ablation

Revolutionary Technology
Pulsed Field Ablation, or PFA, is a revolutionary technology that has wide-reaching application to the healthcare industry and beyond. It aims to improve on existing cardiac ablation treatments by improving efficacy and reducing unintended consequences.
PFA uses micro-bursts of energy to disrupt cells in the heart. These bursts of energy are delivered via catheter and last fractions of a second. There is no heat or cold signature associated with PFA which is the main drawback of today’s most common ablation procedures.
