Our Mission
Field Medical blends passion and experience to advance cardiac care. Our mission is to enable physicians, cardiologists, and patients to achieve the best possible outcomes during cardiac ablation procedures. We do this by building advanced pulsed field ablation catheters that are highly effective, yet minimize unintended impacts on surrounding areas of the body.
Field Medical, Inc. (FMI) was founded in 2022 by Dr. Steven Mickelsen. It was named after the electrical “field” which is the cornerstone of PFA technology.
FMI is expected to expand substantially in the coming months through additional investor funding as well as additional hires to the FMI leadership team.
